PAS5308 PART2/TYPE2 INSTRUMENTATION CABLE, INDIVIDUALLY SCREENED
Application
Manufactured to PAS5308, Instrumentation cables are intrinsically safe and designed for use in communication and instrumentation applications in and around process industries for transmission of signals in control systems. The signals can be analogue or digital from a variety of sensors and transducers.
Constructions
Conductor: Plain Annealed Copper Conductors
Insulation: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Laid up to form pairs
Screen: Each pair individually aluminium/mylar foil tape screened, collective aluminium/mylar foil tape screen complete with 0.5mm drain wire
Bedding: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Armour: Galvanised Steel Wire
Sheath: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Sheath Colour: Blue or Black
The maximum period of operation is 15years
Installation Temperature: Above 0℃
Operating Temperature: -15℃ ~ 65℃
Rated Voltage: 300/500V
Test Voltage (DC): 2000V Between Conductors
2000V Between Each Conductor and Armour
