Plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded with polyethylene sheath to form a cable. The outer sheath is PE material. This stranded loose tube with Aluminum strip armored optical cable is typically outdoor using with its max 288cores. Due to its lower crush resistance than the Steel tape armored optical cable so it is more widely used in the duct environment.
