AIPU WATON Prefabricated Modular Data Center

Introduction

Aipu Waton has customized a smart container data center solution for a company in Xinjiang, providing support for outdoor enterprises to accelerate the implementation of comprehensive information management systems. The Aipu Waton data center solution not only incorporates cutting-edge information technology but also fully considers environmental adaptability and rapid deployment capabilities, ensuring stable and efficient operations in complex and variable outdoor geographic conditions.

Solution

The Aipu Waton container data center product solution adopts a prefabricated model, using containers as the carrying shell for the data center. Key infrastructure components such as integrated cabinets, UPS, precision air conditioning, power distribution, monitoring, and cabling are prefabricated and delivered as a one-stop solution within the factory. This prefabricated design significantly shortens the construction cycle of the data center; meanwhile, its flexible expansion characteristics provide robust support for rapid business scaling and smooth operations.

Tailored Solutions

Aipu Waton utilizes highly specialized research and manufacturing capabilities to customize container data centers for clients. This includes considerations for system availability, protective capabilities, container dimensions, power types, cooling types, and other special requirements.

Rapid Deployment

The container is equipped with integrated IT equipment necessary for UPS power distribution, cooling, and cabinets, all of which are pre-configured and tested in the factory. It can be quickly deployed on-site and put into use with minimal setup.

Safe and Reliable

The standard container body meets the IP55 protection ratings and can be customized to achieve IP65. It is also resistant to corrosion, fire, explosive forces, and bullets. It comes standard with fire protection, access control, and video monitoring systems to defend against fire, theft, and breaches.

Continuous Online Availability

By combining excellent overall protective capabilities with the high availability of power distribution and cooling system architectures (meeting GB50174-A standards and Uptime Tier-IV standards), the solution fully ensures that clients' businesses remain continuously online.

Detail Features of Container Data Centers

Thermal Insulation Structure Design

The thermal insulation structure of the container data center consists mainly of connection structures, wood frame structures, and insulation fill materials, using polyurethane as the insulation material. With this insulation structure, coupled with appropriate sealing measures, the overall thermal insulation coefficient of the container data center can reach 0.7 W/㎡.℃.

Multi-layer Protective Container Design

Cabinet Design

Utilizing high-strength, quality cold-rolled steel plates, the materials, fasteners, and testing methods for mechanical, chemical, and electrical properties comply with national standards in China, communication industry standards, and relevant IEC standards.

Power Distribution Design

The integrated power system optimizes the structure and electrical design by incorporating dedicated modular UPS power for the data center (IDC) and a precision power distribution system within a single cabinet. This aligns with Aipu Waton's new concept of "energy-saving, green, and environmentally friendly," leveraging the advantages of digital and new semiconductor technologies to eliminate various grid issues affecting critical loads.

Cooling Design

Considering the climatic conditions and thermal loads of Xinjiang, this phase includes the installation of base station air conditioning with low-temperature components, meeting the use requirements in high-altitude, cold environments. Voltage/Frequency: 380V/50Hz. Cooling/Heating capacity not less than 12.5KW. Heating output (W) ≥ 3000, conforming to the high-altitude and cold environment requirements. Efficient compressors and EC fans are used, accompanied by electronic expansion valves for precise throttling to maximize energy efficiency; the control system has a group control function that allows multiple devices to be centrally managed for overall energy savings.

Monitoring Design

The dynamic environment monitoring system can provide power system status signals and alarm notifications for unattended container data centers, which include generators, switchboards, UPS, and heaters; it also provides environmental system signals such as door contacts, smoke detectors, water alarms, temperature and humidity sensors, and infrared sensors.
All signals can be transmitted over the network to the backend for comprehensive monitoring of the container data center's status. The security system (equipped with facial recognition single-door access control modules, system signals connected to the dynamic environment system, anti-theft alarms, etc.) enhances the reliability of the system, providing clear event handling and effective scientific management of the data center.
