What is the best material for cable sheathing?

LSZH

(Low Smoke,

Zero Halogen)

Advantages:

  · Safety: LSZH cables emit minimal smoke and low toxicity during fires.
  · Flame Retardant: LSZH materials are inherently flame-resistant.
  · Environmentally Friendly: LSZH reduces environmental impact.

Disadvantages:

  · Cost: LSZH cables are more expensive.
  · Limited Flexibility: LSZH materials are less flexible than PVC.

PVC

(PolyVinyl Chloride)
