BS5308 cables are instrumentation cables that meet the British Standard (BS) requirements for a range of instrument signal cables. They are designed to be part of an intrinsically safe system and are used in many applications, including:

Industrial process plants: For data and voice transmission services, and to interconnect electrical equipment and instruments

Communications and telecoms

Automation

Water treatment

Oil, gas, and petrochemical

Building and construction industries

BS5308 cables are often split into two parts:

Part 1:

Covers polythene insulated cables, which are commonly used in the petrochemical industry

Part 2:

Covers PVC cables, which are more commonly used in the chemical and petrochemical industry

In the past 32 years, AipuWaton’s cables are used to smart building solutions. The new Fu Yang factory started to manufacture at 2023. Will take video and update according this next month.
