Bus Cable is used for the digital signal transmission between sensors and the corresponding display units, also designed for high-speed data transmission of industrial fieldbus systems and industrial fieldbus systems and industrial Ethernet in automation and process control applications.

What is PROFINUS cable?

PROFIBUS (Process Field Bus) cables are used in industrial fieldbus systems for process applications and factory processes. They are designed to allow a large number of components to share a single two-core copper cable, which can significantly reduce cabling and installation costs compared to non-digital systems. PROFIBUS cables can support up to 32 devices per segment, and up to 126 devices overall, depending on the system current.

There are two variations of PROFIBUS in use today; the most commonly used PROFIBUS DP, and the lesser used, application specific, PROFIBUS PA:

Application1:

For deliver time-critical communication between process automation systems and distributed peripherals. This cable is usually referred as S iemens profibus.

For the connection of control systems to field instruments on process automation applications.

What is the difference between PROFIBUS and PROFINET cable?

Profibus and Profinet are both industrial communication protocols, but they use different types of cables. Profibus uses twisted-pair copper cable with a BNC connector, while Profinet uses twisted-pair copper or fiber-optic cable with a RJ45 connector. The data rates and distance capabilities of the two protocols are also different, with Profibus typically being used for short-distance communication and Profinet for longer distances. Additionally, Profinet designed to handle higher data rates and more complex networks than Profibus.
