Description

Aipu-waton GYTA optical cable is a duct or aerial used outdoor fiber optic cable which consists of single mode or multi mode fibers in several loose tubes. Those loose tubes are fulfilled with waterproof compound. The center of the optical cable is a steel wire strength member which is covered by PE material for some of the GYTA cable. All the loose tubes are twisted around the central strength member into a round fiber cable core in that sometimes there may need a filler rope in order to complete a circle. The central strength members in the cable give it good tensile strength, water blocking jelly in the tube and tape over the tube give it excellent water and moisture resistance. Plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded with polyethylene sheath to form a cable. The outer sheath is PE material. This stranded loose tube with Aluminum strip armored optical cable is typically outdoor using with its max 288cores. Due to its lower crush resistance than the Steel tape armored optical cable so it is more widely used in the duct environment. Aipu-waton is committed to offer evolutionary improvements and easy-to-handle constructions in our fiber solution such as this stranded loose tube non-metallic optical cable.
